Major onboard features include CHIPS 65550 VGA GUI Accelerator controller, networking controller (SBC8243VE only,) one flash disk socket, two serial RS-232 ports (one for RS232, one for RS232/422/485.) Enhanced bi-directional parallel port, PCI enhanced IDE hard disk drive interface, floppy disk controller, and watchdog timer. The Industrial grade construction of SBC8243 ensures continuous reliable operation in harsh industrial environments.
